This week (K-3) our Washington Children's Choice Book was "Just Ducks!" by Nicola Davies. Students were listening for information about ducks and thinking about the questions "Would a duck make a good pet?" Students need to think of supporting reasons for their yes or no answer. The index of the book was show and we learned/reviewed what an index was, why people use an index, and how people use an index.
