This Week in the Library: May 27-30

We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.  Only a few weeks left!  Remember that ALL books are due on Friday, June 6.  Here's what went on during library classes this week at Sherwood!

Kindergarten (except Cook): We heard "Alphabet Mystery" by .  Students brainstormed things they could draw for our class alphabet book.  Each student was assigned a letter.  We will work on pages next week and then we will record an audio version of the book!

Kindergarten (Cook) & Grade 1: No classes due to Memorial Day.  Books will be due next Monday, June 2.

 2nd & 3rd Grade: We read "Those Darn Squirrels" by Adam Rubin.  Here are some videos of squirrel  obstacle courses.  They are amazing!

 Intermediate Classes: We did our picture book battle of the books.  Students competed with their  groups.  Sixth grade classes finished, other classes completed round one with the remaining 2 rounds to  happen next week.

 Preschool: Little Eaglets heard "Cat Secrets" read by two of our fourth grade students.  Next week will be  our last Little Eaglet session.  All books will be due at that time.
