Students Learning About Internet Safety

Currently, lessons in the Library (except Kindergarten) have been focusing on internet safety.  Students are learning (depending on grade level): Safe and responsible use of websites, social networks, IM, etc.; Risks of sharing personal information online; recognizing and reporting inappropriate online activities.  This school district curriculum primarily uses these resources: Common Sense Media, Media Smarts, and Net Smartz Workshop.  Feel free to explore these site for more video clips and information related to internet safety and privacy.
