The 2012 Sherwood Book Exchange will be held during Open House night on Thursday, April 19.
Spring clean those bookshelves of unused books and pick some up for summer reading! Students may bring in books beginning on Monday, April 16. Books must be in good or excellent condition and should be for elementary age children.
For every book brought in, the student will receive a book ticket. A book ticket allows a student to select a book at the Book Exchange! Students do not need to use all of their tickets.
If you’d like to donate some book tickets to students who may not have books at home, put a note on your donated books and Mr. Sonnen will make sure the tickets get to needy students.
Books not taken at the Book Exchange will be offered to classroom libraries and then donated to charity. For more information, contact Mr. Sonnen, Sherwood Librarian, at 425-431-2081 or sonnend@edmonds.wednet.edu .
